Particularly in respect of remote purchasing, whether online or by phone, over twenty years of experience has taught us that a fraudster’s first concern is that he will be paid. It is essential, therefore, that what is presented is a “legend” which may be robustly checked with regard to status. We lawfully maintain a number of identities located around the UK which have physical address, contact, and bank facilities, and which are used to trade with these entities in order to obtain evidence of fraudulent activity.
We have also conducted many nationwide mystery shopping projects, purchasing items as diverse as IT hardware and software to vehicle parts to designer clothing and handbags.
